TimberTech has adopted the following policies to safeguard your personal information. We will limit the collection and use of personal information to what is necessary to administer our business.
Our Web site may contain links to other sites, and we make every effort to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. However, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.
TimberTech collects personal information from our visitors on a voluntary basis only. Personal information may include name, title, company, address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. The individual information we collect is used by TimberTech to improve the products and services we offer. We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties. If you indicate you would like to receive future e-mail communications from TimberTech, we may on occasion send you e-mail with news and information about our products, services and other programs that might be of interest to you. You will have the ability to unsubscribe from our e-mail list at any time. In addition, we may share data with certain contractors and dealers to send you email or post mail about TimberTech offers, or provide customer support.
Our Web server tracks and collects general information about the visits to our Web site. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, the daily requests we receive for particular files, the types of browsers visitors use, the visitors' domain names, and from what countries those requests come. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users.
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. California Privacy RightsUnder California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once per calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2011 will receive information regarding 2010 sharing activities).
